Sanjiv is the Managing Director of Cedar Consulting. Cedar (www.cedar-consulting.com) is a leading global management and information technology consulting firm with 15 offices globally, and 800 clients. Cedar was formerly part of Renaissance Worldwide, a $1 Billion firm co-founded by the creators of the Balanced Scorecard. Cedar has won the 2010 and 2011 Award for Best Advisory Firm by Banker Middle East.
Sanjiv has been assisting global/regional clients in the area of business strategy formulation and deployment using the Balanced Scorecard, business and organizational/HR transformation, customer service strategy and IT strategy. He has executed over 200 consulting projects across a wide range of industry sectors. In addition, Sanjiv has worked with leading global venture capitalist including Standard Chartered Private Equity, Chase, and PPM in the due diligence of investment opportunities in the Asian region.
Mandated by the Board’s and CEO’s of these institutions, Sanjiv has assisted in major strategy formulation, organizational transformation, process transformation, customer segmentation and pricing, channel strategy & IT strategy projects.
Sanjiv leads consulting projects globally and has spent over 5 years living in New York, and Chicago, consulting in the US market.
He has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also has a BE in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from the Stern Graduate School of Business, New York University. He is a member of the Stern Global Alumni Council in New York, and has been the chair of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Bombay Chapter. He Chairs the YPO Doing Business With India Network, and writes regularly in Business India and Banker Middle East.
