Job Description

Reporting To: Managing Director

Job Location: Bengaluru


Job Role

This role is focused on developing distinctive market strategies, market research & competitive intelligence to support the company’s line of business. It involves a gamut of activities (independent research, data collection, modelling, analysis, interpretation and presentation of research findings) and involves working closely with various businesses to develop actionable analysis and a knowledge repository. The role will also focus on branding, external communications, design and development of marketing tools, visual publicity, road-shows aimed at enhancing the market share of company’s product portfolio.


Key Responsibility Areas

  • End to end development of marketing programs – from strategy to execution.
  • Ideate, develop, and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the top management to determine pricing strategies
  • Develop and manage marketing budget to meet marketing objectives and measure results of the marketing program.
  • Manage all promotional activities for brand including internal communications, lead generation, branding, and relationships with partners etc.
  • Implement and manage CRM.
  • Need to work across disciplines and on larger engagements serving customers (internal & external) and partners/ campaigns etc.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and collaborate with employees, customers, partners, analysts.
  • Build trust, value add, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Increase in market share in key industry verticals.
  • Develop competitive intelligence on Key competitors and their leading products
  • Monitor and analyze key market indicators and trends for the company to help formulate specific strategies (incl. monthly, quarterly reporting of metrics to various Lines of Business)
  • Corporate Interaction with headquarters



Preferred qualification:


Excellent Engineering graduate in Instrumentation /control automation with a post graduate diploma in marketing management from a premier institute.

Experience: 15 to 20 years


Skills and Competency

  • Strong business acumen and technical and marketing mindset.
  • Excellent knowledge on various marketing strategies and approaches.
  • Ability to develop marketing messages, marketing content, brochures and white paper.
  • Ability to conduct marketing research and analyze reports/data, initiate appropriate actions required to strengthen company’s brand image and positioning in the market.
  • Build good relationships with external and internal customers/stake holders.
  • Strong experience in understanding customer needs and key growth drivers.
  • Excellent presentation skills, creative ideas and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to work in diverse teams and to collaborate so as to market best ideas /solutions in the interest of the company.
  • Creative Mindset with the ability to build a brand name
  • Understand market dynamics and competitive environment.
  • Able to use market analytics /data effectively to understand customer needs, new markets, channels etc.
  • Anticipates changes in the market and rework strategies accordingly.
