Marketing Manager – Specialty Therapies Group

A unique marketing role in medical device industry where you get to work on both B2B and B2C business models with a dedicated team of marketeers. You are expected to drive market development and therapy adoption for growth businesses with startup mindset whereas deliver profitable growth thru portfolio management for mature businesses. This role gives you unmatchable experience of working with 6 different specialties across 5 operating units with separate P&L for each unit with an opportunity to make a large impact in healthcare continuum of interventional cardiology, Cardiac surgery, Gastroenterology, Diabetes and Nephrology.

Ideal candidate for the role is someone who has……
  1. In depth understanding of marketing with customer segmentation in B2B and B2C.
  2. Experience of managing different therapies with various stages of product life cycle.
  3. Execution excellence of short term and long-term marketing plans
  4. Strategic thinking to drive long term plans.
  5. People management experience in marketing domain.

Key responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and retain marketing team across operating units of specialty group to facilitate market development and therapy adoption with 1:1 share growth.
  • Development and Execution of marketing plans in partnership with stakeholders
  • Developing lead/ lagging indicators and input/ output factors with timely review and course correction for each of the marketeer and operating units to facilitate marketing excellence.
  • Portfolio Management – Building and driving synergies across OU’s in the group and pan enterprise to optimize product & program offerings, marketing spends and deliver leverage
  • Build long term product strategy for each Operating unit based on product life cycle and growth potential of OU in tandem with 5 year strategic plans.
  • Talent management – Developing and nurturing talent in marketing organization by adoption of coaching, CDP and quarterly reviews


Must Have:   Minimum Requirements
 
University degree or its equivalent, MBA a plus
Medical doctor license is a plus
Financial skills and qualifications are a plus
Experience:
12 - 16 years of experience in Marketing. Some Sales experiences a plus. Proven success in marketing and marketing management.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Team orientation, collaboration, written/oral communication, analytical and customer focus, people management and priority setting.
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, written and verbal skills. Proven track record of planning, execution and results.
Skills/Competencies:
Executing in the Matrix, Strategic Agility, Managing Vision & Purpose, Decision Quality, Business Acumen and Innovation Management
