This role will be responsible for leading the Production Management organization in India, an organization that delivers highly secure, reliable, efficient technology operations services that are focused on the needs of all State Street business. You will lead an accomplished and forward-thinking team of leaders and engineers who have the determination and knowledge to find inventive solutions to complex problems. In collaboration with the business, technology peers, and vendor partners, you will ensure that State Street’s businesses have optimized services and operations, enabling greater availability, performance, and reliability in the delivery of State Street products. This role will be a member of the global Production Management leadership team.
The India Head of Production Management will have responsibility of all India Production Management functions. This role is also critical in ensuring the APAC / EMEA start of day is as smooth as possible, from a technology standpoint.
o As part of the Production Management leadership team develop a vision, strategy and operating model for all processes and functions that are integral to the availability of platforms for State Streets clients, in particular focus on high availability of high volume and highly critical services
o As the India lead for Production management take complete responsibility for executing all Production Management goals within the country / regions
o Take global responsibility for key parts of the Production Management strategy, such as Automation or Telemetry
o Develop, and direct the execution of service operating policies to support overall division objectives SLA/OLA and stability targets
o Working in partnership with teams cross State Street, within Technology, Operations, and the business, participate with strategic planning and implement new processes and approaches to achieve them.
o Form strong partnerships with peer technology teams, business partners, operations partners, and vendors
o Effectively communicate complex technology issues to executive management; act in a constructive fashion with other department heads to improve efficiency and effectiveness
o Significant experience in leading various facets of technology, including production, infrastructure, corporate technology, and business applications
o Significant experience driving stability, availability, and resiliency programs across large complex environments globally
o Provide analytical insights alongside senior management team including development of service management reporting capabilities.
o Develop, and direct the execution of service operating policies and operating model designs to support overall division objectives
o Manage and direct regular budget activities and financial performance targets.
o Ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally, build effective relationships, and work well in a distributed, team-oriented environment.
