We are looking for Associate Dean -Academics (Engineering) for one of the reputed University in Dehradun.

Report to - Dean 

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accreditation & Rankings
• Identify and finalize the accreditations and rankings for the school to apply for, along with the central Accreditations team and Dean-School
• Analyze the requirements for these accreditations and rankings and share those with Dean-School and with the Cluster Heads
• Ensure implementation of the initiatives across clusters/departments for achievement of the targeted ranking
• Seek required data and analysis from Manager – Operations & Analytics and follow-up with the Cluster Heads/ HODs for closure of gaps
? Research
• Drive research in school as per the areas identified with, and inputs received from the central Research Team and Dean-School
• Ensure research is being conducted in each cluster/department as per the allocated targets
• Monitor the quality of research outcomes and ensure it meets the required standard
• Maintain all research related data and documents for the school
• Ensure that the faculty receive the required support and guidance from Cluster Head/HODs in conducting research, publishing research papers, presenting research papers in conferences and provide additional support wherever required
? Consulting
• Seek opportunities for consulting assignments from Government, Private and Public sector for the school
• Ensure execution of these consulting assignments by utilizing the faculty at the school, other schools and external support as required.
• Track the progress of all consulting assignments at the school and maintain related data and records
• Ensure that the consulting assignments are completed on time as per the required quality standards to further ensure client satisfaction with regards to these assignments

Qualification
o Ph.D. in the required domain, Experience atleast 9 years
o Strong academic profile including research work done, papers published and/or presented in refereed journal and forums
