Aparna leads the Development sector practice and works on senior mandates in the Media sector. She also heads the Independent Reference Check and Outplacement verticals within the firm’s Talent Advisory Solutions portfolio. Her work involves partnering with CXOs and Boards on leadership hiring, de-risking critical decisions through independent reference checks and safeguarding employer brand through structured outplacement.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources from the New Delhi Institute of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. She began her career with ABC Consultants in 2009 and has since built deep expertise across executive search and talent advisory, with additional experience in a high-growth consumer internet environment working closely with the founder.

Aparna has built and scaled ABC’s Development sector practice and has placed CEOs and senior leaders across media companies and non-profits. She has played a key role in converting engagements into enterprise-level relationships and institutionalising the independent reference check process across clients.

Based in Delhi, much of Aparna’s time is devoted to her toddler twins. She enjoys reworking her home décor, and is an avid reader of fiction, with a taste that spans Hemingway, Ayn Rand, John Grisham and Jane Austen.
