Upasana leads the ABC Consultants’ BFSI, Professional Services and core PE/VC/Family Office practices.

She is a postgraduate from the Australian School of Business, University of New South Wales, Sydney. Prior to re-joining ABC, she worked with a leading global search firm and served a long tenure with Deloitte Consulting in multiple leadership roles. Through her 25 years of experience, she has worked across diverse sectors including Banking, Consulting, Financial Services, Professional Services, Education, Digital, Technology, Offshoring, Airports, and Infrastructure. 

Upasana’s body of work spans global expatriate searches, team build-ups, domain-specific local and international C-suite appointments, board constructs and compensation studies. She has worked with a broad spectrum of conglomerates and MNC clients, and has been involved in speaking engagements, press coverage and mission-critical nation-building appointments for Boards, CEOs, and CXOs.

She serves on the National Committee of the Australian Alumni Association in India and is the Chair of AAA Mumbai. She is also on the governing body of Reach Foundation, focused on education for underprivileged women and children, and is an Advisor to Vishuddhi, a not-for-profit organisation.

Outside of work, she loves to cook, is a trained yoga teacher, has an interest in space designing and enjoys reading.
