Job Title: Vice President - InvestmentsPosition Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President - Investments to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in investment management.
Key Responsibilities
• Investment Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine investment strategies tailored to high-growth public equities and private market opportunities in India.
• Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and assess potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
• Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation to inform investment decisions.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with fund objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and updates for internal stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology).
• MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management).
• Professional certifications such as CA & CFA are considered a significant advantage.
Experience:
• Extensive experience in Management Consulting with top firms such as Bain, BCG, or McKinsey.
• Proven background in Private Equity, demonstrating successful investment execution and portfolio management.
- At least 8-10 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years in investment roles, with a track record of high-impact decision-making.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective investment strategies aligned with the firm’s goals.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating deal terms and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
• Experience in the Indian market with a deep understanding of local economic and industry dynamics.
• Proven ability to source and execute deals independently.
