We are currently hiring for Head - Maintenance for one of India's renowned Consumer Food Tech Companies.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of India Operations, head of maintenance will be responsible for maintaining all kitchen facilities with minimal downtime and lower repair and maintenance costs. This will be a fast paced role and will require the flexibility to meet aggressive deadlines with strong focus on getting the job done on priority and building a strong foundation for kitchens for the future. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, technical knowledge, good communication skills, agility, eye for detail and the ability to influence.
? Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work by managing a large team of maintenance technicians and supervisors who will handle a spread out network of cloud kitchens
? Timely Periodic Maintenance of all equipment inside kitchens taking equipment health to 100%
? Monitoring Breakdown maintenance of equipments and continuously working on reduction of breakdown time and repeat repair costs
? Leading utility costs reduction for all kitchens by innovation.
? Making kitchens future proof by getting timely upgrade of infrastructure as per growing business demands
? Working with the procurement team in developing new vendors for Civil, electrical, electronics, Plumbing work to be done at kitchens. Work on creating a new vendor base and sign rate contracts for utilities like DG, RO, Exhaust clean ups etc.
? Working cohesively with Projects and Smart Equipment development teams to bring in new technologies in terms of improving kitchen efficiency and productivity.
? Create Quarterly budgets and work on reduction of Repair and Maintenance costs.
? Sign up AMC contracts for cold rooms, freezers, equipment and maintain relations with all equipment suppliers.
? Responsible for efficient operations of HVAC to ensure right ambient conditions within kitchens.
? Develop systems and procedures to ensure equipment health is up to mark and create safety standards for kitchens.
? Manage all team member related activities including recruitment, performance management, training, career planning, and team motivation.
? Manage maintenance of equipment for central kitchens and ensure zero downtime in central kitchens.
Experience: 10+ years of experience of leading engineering or maintenance functions for manufacturing units/ warehouses/ retail chains/ Hospitality with a spread out network.
